About the kitchen
Lao and Thai food, cooked the way we eat it.

Kim’s Kitchen is a small family kitchen in Willow Creek, on Highway 299 along the Trinity River. We cook Lao and Thai food — the two kitchens sit at the same table here, and the menu runs from both.
That means larb with lime, fish sauce and toasted rice; pad kee mow heavy with basil; green, yellow and panang curries in coconut milk; fried rice and chow mein from a wok that stays hot all service; and big bowls of pho and tom yum when you want something slower.
There is no theme and no gimmick. It is a short list of dishes we know how to cook well, made when you order them, seasoned the way you ask. Some dishes are spicy by default — tell us and we will turn them up or down.
You may know us as Lily’s Thai Kitchen
Same kitchen, same family, new name. If you found us under Lily’s and wondered where we went, you are in the right place — the pad thai, the curries and the larb are all still here, and the door on Highway 299 is the same door.
Why this site has a menu that changes
The most annoying thing about a restaurant website is finding a dish you want and then finding out it is not on any more. So the menu here is the menu we keep. When a price changes or a dish comes off, the page changes with it. What you read before you call is what you get.
Cooked to order
Nothing is held under a lamp. Your dish goes in the wok or the pot after you order it, which is why it takes the time it takes.
As hot as you like
Every spicy dish can be dialed up or down. Tell us mild, medium or hot when you order and the kitchen will cook it that way.
Feeding a crowd
Party trays, family-size noodle orders and platters for a gathering are all things we do. A little notice helps a lot.
Come sit down, or call and we will have it ready.
We are at 38939 CA-299 in Willow Creek, next to Ray’s. Dine in available, and takeout whenever you want it. If you are deciding what to eat, the menu page will tell you more than this one will.
